Spring Projects

Sorry it's been so long since we last posted...we've been super busy the past month with lots of crafty projects! We've been busy painting canvases and making several wreaths.  Hope you enjoy!

 This canvas was made for a sweet teacher friend. She had seen a smaller version at a local store and wanted us to recreate it on a much bigger scale. Her son goes to Heritage, so it will look perfect in his blue and orange room!!

The next two were made for another teacher friend. She's been helping a friend decorate her two daughters' rooms..the name canvases were the finishing touches for the rooms.

Snow Day = Craft Day

Since we had several snow days, we used those days off to do some painting. We won't say anymore, just look for yourself!!

We saved our favorite for last!! We saw a sign with this wording at our cousins' house in Texas and absolutely fell in love with it!!! Ever since then, we have been dying to add it to a canvas!! This was made for our sister Tara.

We made this canvas for Tara's house. It's the biggest canvas we've done so far, and it turned out great!

Flea Market Finds

After spending the afternoon at a flea market, we came away with several goodies! We bought several things and then took them home to change them a bit!! Here's what we ended up with.

Rectangle Silver Tray..we turned it into a Chalkboard Tray

Antique mirror and frames..they were a gold/bronze color, so we painted them black

We picked up an old window that is 28 x 28 1/2. We have no specific plans for it, so we thought we'd put it for sale on here! We would be glad to customize it any way you would like. We could turn it into a chalkboard or paint a design on it. Email us for details about pricing if you're interested!

New Creations

Last weekend, we went antiquing and got a few new ideas for painting.  We picked up some silver trays and  used chalkboard paint on the center of them. They turned out really cute!!

A New Year...A New Business

For Christmas, we painted our sweet cousin Rachel an 8 x 8 canvas with her name on it, along with some super fun polka dots as the background.  She put it in her cubicle at work and less than a week later, we had a couple orders for 8 x 8 canvases!  Since it was our first official order since we started our blog, we thought it deserved it's very own post!
